Career Center

I have been with the Hesperia Unified School District since January 1996, starting at Hesperia High School as the Career Center Specialist and then transferring to  Oak Hills High School when it opened in August 2009.  Prior to my district job, I worked for ten years at a vocational college, my last position being School Director.

Personally, after high school graduation from Pioneer H.S. in Whittier, I attended college and graduated from Mt. Sac in 1981, then went back to college after my boys were grown, graduating with a degree in Social Science from Cal Baptist in 2007.  Both my sons are products of our school district, attending Cottonwood and Mesquite Trails, Hesperia Jr. H.S. and graduating from Hesperia High School.  My oldest son is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton and is currently a substitute teacher in our district while completing his credential.   My youngest son is an assistant for a multi-million dollar corporation in Las Vegas while attending college.

With my personal background, family background and experience, I can help make a difference in our students’ lives.  We truly are a supportive staff and dedicated to student success.  To be part of the Bulldog staff is an honor, to be part of our students’ high school experience is a privilege.

GO BULLDOGS AND WELCOME TO THE POUND!
